What is an 18 hour bra?

I've been wearing bras for like 20 years now, and I have no idea what an 18 hour bra is or why it's called that. I generally buy my bras from Victoria's Secret or stick with Bali, Warner and Olga. Does it explode after 18 hours or is it disposable?
