Christians: What do you do when your prayers aren't answered?

say that God works in some mysterious ways, that he is only good to win scratch tickets and Bingo games; and I would have to argue that the 3 billion people starving to death, are going unanswered, afterall 1/3 of this planet is literally starving daily
