My rabbit (Thumper) had to be put asleep on 26/11/2009 due to having Myxomatosis. Is he alright?

It was very upsetting and a hard decision to have him put to sleep. Thumper was such a cuddly and docile rabbit and i miss him so much. How do i find out if it was the best thing to do and if he forgives me or not?
