My boyfriend is taking another girl to prom...am i overreacting?

that is messed up that he's not taking you to prom but maybe he's just being a nice guy and doesn't want to hang the other girl out to dry because he asked her first. I'm in a relationship that I've been in for a year and a half now and I get upset over the littlest things and lately I've realized I have no reason to. What I started doing is just taking a step back and letting things just happen. Just don't care. Instead of fighting or arguing about this whole prom thing, let him go and tell him to have fun. If you seem so cool about it I bet he'll be wishing he took you instead. But if you keep making him feel bad about it, he'll just be wanting to go with the other girl even more. If you're not going to prom just use that night to catch up with your other friends. Go to a movie or something and forget about him. And as far as the sleeping over at the date's house, I think you should just tell him it's his decision but you just don't like the idea. Tell him that it's not that you don't trust him, it's just kind of a sketchy thing to sleep at another girls house.
