I have heard by people that lemon works (Im fair skin so I never tried it). But the most effective is special bleaching cream (its called lightening cream) that you can get at a skin care spa place. It is more effective and a qualified person will look at you to see what level your skin can take to bleach it. This cream is typically used for sun spots.
