Can anyone help me become a better poet?

well, in my poetry i usually try to omit pronouns..especially I and she or them..ect. i think it helps me..but sometimes you need the poetry. also, you can put in more similies/metaphors and even more imagery and dont always focus on rhymes, because the more you focus on rhyming, the less you focus on the meaning of your poem
